Becky Dice

Becky is excited to return to Charlottesville Day School for all things math! She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roanoke College. Not too long after graduating and working in human resources, she realized that her true passion is teaching. She moved to Charlottesville to attend graduate school at UVA and she graduated from the Curry School of Education with a Masters of Teaching in Elementary Education. At UVA, Becky studied under the direction of Dr. Carol Tomlinson, Dr. Robert Berry, and Dr. Robert Tai.  Becky was hired at CDS right after graduate school in 2014 and has loved teaching here since then. At CDS, she found her passion for teaching math and has received specialized math trainings from Stanford University, Michigan State University, and The Math Learning Center. Along with her husband she lives with her daughters, Riley and Marley, and corgi, Hobbes.
