“Señora B” is excited to be back for her seventeenth year teaching Spanish at CDS. This year, Amy is excited to also be a homeroom teacher in the Golden Bear class. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Virginia and earned her teaching license from Mary Baldwin College. She enjoyed working for Albemarle County as a Spanish Teacher at the high school level before finding her true passion teaching children at CDS. Her Spanish curriculum includes age-appropriate songs, games, stories, poetry, culture and art. She takes a storytelling approach to teaching Spanish. Amy has two daughters: Laura and Julia, who are both proud CDS graduates.
