Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is Charlottesville Day School’s most important fundraising instrument.

Annual giving makes it possible for CDS to maintain its level of excellency in all areas and efficiently respond to opportunities and challenges.

We seek broad participation in meeting this shared responsibility each year. Gifts at all levels are valued and needed. The school requests gifts that are meaningful and within each donor’s means.

CDS could not do what it does without the consistent support of our community.  We are grateful for your generosity!  Thank you!

The Townley Fund

The Townley Fund is a scholarship program that supports early learners with deep financial need. Currently, the program supports four wonderful children with full tuition, lunches, incidental costs, and options for summer learning. These students are members of the Charlottesville refugee community and receive additional services from International Neighbors. The initiative is inspired by the dedication and sacrifices of the amazing Mrs. Townley Cole, who has been a teacher for more than 50 years.
